Significance of Navgraha Shanti Mahapuja

Navgraha Shanti Mahapuja is a Vedic ritual dedicated to the nine celestial deities - Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu - believed to influence one's destiny according to Jyotish. The puja involves individual invocation and mantra chanting for each of the nine planetary deities, including mantras such as "Om Suryaya Namah" and "Om Chandraya Namah", along with sacred offerings and a Havan dedicated to pacifying unfavourable planetary influences in a person's birth chart. Traditionally recommended during a difficult planetary period (dasha) or before major life events such as marriage, a new business, or relocation.
