About Maha Rudrabhishek Mahapuja
Significance of Maha Rudrabhishek Mahapuja
Maha Rudrabhishek Mahapuja is one of the most powerful Shiva worship rituals in Vedic tradition. "Rudra" refers to the fierce yet compassionate form of Lord Shiva, and "Abhishek" is the sacred ritual bathing of the deity with water, milk, honey, ghee and Bilva leaves, accompanied by Rudra mantra chanting. The core mantra is "Om Namah Shivaya" - salutations to Lord Shiva, the auspicious inner self of all. Performed to invoke blessings for health, strength, protection from negative energies and overall wellbeing. Includes Ganesh Puja for an auspicious beginning.
